Title I

Title I

Noble is a school-wide Title I school.  This means:
  • We get funding from the Federal Government for staffing and resources.

  • This allows for extra support staff in all classrooms throughout the school day.

  • Because our funding comes from the Federal Government, we have to notify all families and have a signed compact for every student in the building.

Title I serves students in grades K through 5, both in reading and math. Title I staff is trained in research-based instructional methods to best meet the needs of individual students. The Noble Title I staff provides their services to students in a small-group setting within the regular classroom.  In the mornings, the Title I staff uses the Fountas and Pinnell LLI System (Leveled Literacy Intervention) which is a small-group, supplementary literacy intervention. LLI provides powerful, daily, small-group reading instruction for students who need extra support in reading and writing. In the afternoons, the Title I staff provides small group math instructional support within the classroom.
