Any student, beginner through advanced, can join the Noble Chess Club to learn chess playing moves and strategies, and to participate in organized play. Students also have the opportunity to participate in School Chess Association (SCA) tournaments.
Grade level: K-5
Day/time: Chess Club meets on Tuesdays after school, beginning after fall conferences.

Activity fee: $15; however, students will not be denied the opportunity to join if they are unable to pay the fee. Activity fees are used to help pay for equipment, prizes and end-of-year celebration.
Girls on the Run
GIRLS ON THE RUN is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 5th grades. Meeting twice a week in small teams, Girls on the Run teaches life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The season culminates with a Girls on the Run 5K event, which gives participants a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving goals.
Grade level: Girls in grades 3-5
