In celebration of Black History Month, Noble Elementary interviewed Helen Bassett, Rdale School Board Member.
Monday, March 25 - Friday, March 29 is spring break. School will not be in session, but district offices are open through Thursday, March 28. Monday, April 1 is a non-school day in observance of Easter Sunday.
After spring break, families will be able to submit student absences online through the parent portal. Piloted earlier this year with high school families, the feature is now available at all grade levels.
Over spring break Rdale’s technology team will be hard at work installing new phones in our schools.
We invite those in need of food support to access the upcoming food pick-up events.
It's time for the Noble School Dance! Come join us on Friday, March 15, 5:00-7:00pm. Admission is free. There will be a DJ with lots of great music, and food and drinks are available for purchase. Students will need to be accompanied by an adult as this is not a drop off event. We are looking for volunteers for the dance. Read More to sign up. Can't wait to see you there!
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA) are state tests in reading, mathematics, and science that are used to meet federal and state legislative requirements.
The 2024 MCA schedule is as follows:
- March 19-20: Science (5th Grade only)
- April 16-17: Reading (Grades 3-5)
- April 23-24: Math (Grades 3-5)

Congratulations to Ms. Betsy Elworthy Sundell! Ms. Sundell, who teaches first grade at Noble, was recognized by the Sun Media as Best Teacher in Golden Valley for the second year in a row! Ms. Sundell has been employed with the Robbinsdale Area Schools more than 20 years, 4 years as classroom teacher. Great job, Ms. Sundell. We are proud of you and happy that you are on the Noble team.

Noble yearbooks can be ordered until April 14, 2024. They will be delivered to school at the end of May. The yearbooks cost $10. Read more to order online with Kemmetmueller Photography. Noble Elementary will not have extra yearbooks available for purchase.

Noble's first Hy-Vee Math Night takes place tonight, Thursday, March 7. All families are invited to come to the Robbinsdale Hy-Vee grocery store anytime between the hours of 3:30-7:00pm (participants do not need to stay the entire time - activities should take 20-30 minutes) to practice real-life math skills, enjoy treats and visit with other families. Tomorrow, Friday, March 8, is the last day for the Noble Read-A-Thon. Our Read-A-Thon is a program that brings students together with family and friends to encourage reading and to build literacy skills. The donations raised from the Read-A-Thon will be used to go towards upgrading the playground equipment to make it more accessible by all. Read More for details.
